Modern Israel Reborn in 1948 From a dry desert land to a flourishing nation overflowing with produce and commerce. Israel has blossomed into a powerful existence. The Hebrew people who were once scattered and persecuted and left for naught have reclaimed the land that was rightfully theirs. The nation of Israel was driven from her land in 70 AD. So for almost 1900 years they existed without a homeland. In 1948 God brought the Jewish people back to their ancient land. By a mandate of the United Nations in 1948, Israel was given a home in the land west of the Jordan.This re-gathering of the Hebrew people and the re-claiming of their land is substantially important in light of written prophecy found in the scriptures and a clear indication of one of the signs of the the "End Times". Prophecy found in Ezekiel states that in the latter days right before the battle of Armageddon the Hebrew people will return to their homeland. Ezekiel 36: Verses 24-38 v.24 "For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all lands, and bring you into your own land". v.28 " You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God". v.29 "Moreover, I will save you from all your uncleanness; and I will call for the grain and multiply it, and I will not bring famine on you". v.30 "And I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field, that you may not receive again the disgrace of famine among the nations". v.35 " And they will say, This desolate land has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste, desolate, and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited". v.36 "Then the nations that are left round about you will know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; I the Lord have spoken and will do it". God spoke it and then God allowed this prophecy to be set in motion and the fulfillment of it. God has moved His chosen people back to the land of their forefathers and then has blessed the barren unproductive land and allowed the uncultivated dry sandy soil to be fruitfull with an abundance of produce. The development of Israel since 1948 has been phenomenal. It is a known fact that the wealth in the Dead Sea is of exponential value. There have also been reports of possible large quantities of oil reserves unlike the world has ever seen. This land has truly been blessed by the Hand of God. Israel stands at the crossroads of world commerce and is poised to control more than just its own land. Is it any wonder why Israel is always in the news? It is also important to note that God's hand has protected Israel's right to the land. Since Israel's restoration they have been engaged in many wars and each time Israel has prevailed. They have not only defeated there opposition but in fact humiliated them with their military expertise and dominance. The Hebrew people's identity has come back to life since their return to their homeland. Ezekiel 37:14 states, "And I will put my Spirit within you, and you will come to life, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken and done it," delares the Lord. And then finally according to Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 the battle of Armageddon will take place sometime after Israel's rebirth and then the Second Coming of Christ will transpire. Wars and Rumors of Wars Recently the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been quoted as saying he wants "To put Israel into an eternal coma" Meaning to wipe out Israel's existence altogether. The newly elected Palestinian leadership Hamas has recently been quoted as saying "We will not give up our goal of destroying Israel" There seems to be an evil force driving the muslim people to either annihilate the Israelites altogether or to chase them out of the land of Israel to an allied nation such as America. Unlike the Palestinians, Iran has no border infringements with Israel, So why such a hostile attitude? The hatrid of the Hebrew people boils back to the time of Abraham who is known as "The Father of many Nations" This story is found in the first book of the Bible called Genesis, specifically Chapters 16-18 God had promised Abraham and his wife Sarah that they would have a son who would be an heir to Abraham. When several years had passed both Abraham and Sarah become impatient and so Sarah sent her Maidservent into Abraham to bare a son. After Hagar bore a son to Abraham they named him Ishmael. Thirteen years later Sarah finally bore the son whom God had beforhand promised to Abraham and her. They named him Isaac This impatience of Abraham and Sarah to have a son is the crux of the problem today. The Muslim people stem from Abraham's son Ishmael. The Hebrew people stem from Abraham's son Isaac. Lets look at what God says of the two boys. Gen.17:20 "And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: behold I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation". Gen.17:21 "But My covenant will I establish with Isaac" Both blessings are extreamly good, but one has a twist to it. "My Covenant" This covenant is all inclusive, meaning "My chosen people" Can you see and feel the division here? Ishmael decendents feel cheated and so this is where their hatrid of the Hebrew people begins and has been passed down from generation to generation. This hatrid is fulfilling prophecy and will lead to the ultimate battle called Armageddon. Iran also known as ancient Persia is prophesied in Ezekiel 38 as teaming up with Russia also known as Gog the land of Magog. This alliance of Russia and Iran has presently been established and has deep economic ties including Arms and oil deals that link them as one. Irans new intentions are to produce nuclear weapons and in fact have recently restarted the process to enrich uranium which is what is needed to produce nuclear bombs. Imagine, if you will, nuclear weapons in the hands of a madman like Iran's new president. He has been quoted with this term "madman" by some of the leaders of our world. He has already declared that he wants to wipe Israel off the face of the world and was also quoted as saying "The Holocaust never really happened" Ezekiel 38:10 brings Russia and Iran together and they will wage battle against Israel. God's Wrath......The Euphrates River Revelation Chapter 16 Prophecies of the final seven judgements that God authorizes to be poured out upon nature and mankind. These vials or bowls will be terrifying to those who will reap their plagues. We will be examining the sixth vial of wrath. It is important to understand that the fulfilling of this scripture which was written around 1,900 hundred years ago can now take place at the command of some controls. Revelation 16:12 "And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river, the Euphrates; and it was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the Kings from the East". "The Kings from the East" refers to those nations that will march against Israel to participate in the Battle of Armageddon, including are, Russia, Iran, Ethiopia and possibly China and other troops. The Euphrates River is the longest and most important river of Western Asia. It is about 1,800 miles long and at the widest parts it is 1,200 yards wide. It ranges from 10 to 30 feet deep. The crossing of the Euphrates has been a physical problem for troops of any size let alone for as many that will march upon Israel. Revelation 9:16 quotes the number of troops at being "two hundred million". China as of 2001 boasted of being able to field an army of 200 million. China all alone could fulfill this part of the prophecy. So the question remains, How do we get a two hundred million man army from the East across the Euphrates River as scripture says will happen? The Country of Turkey has recently compleated a newly built dam project which can control the flow of the Euphrates River and in fact can stop the flow of the river altogether. This sixth largest dam in the world is called The Ataturk Dam and Hydroelectric Plant. A two hundred million man army could easily seize control of the Ataturk Dam and plug the flow at will. At which time they could march over on dry ground. We are living in the last days and proof of this prophecy being able to be fulfilled is our calling card to be ready for the coming of Jesus Christ. Traveling at High Speeds With Increased Knowledge Signs that point to the return of Jesus Christ are everywhere. We are experiencing such a rapid increase in technologies that in reality, just as little as 100 years ago, what we are experiencing today would not only have been laughable but was not even being imagined that could possibly be possible. One of the signs of the "End Times" according to Chapter 12 of the Book of Daniel is the increase in travel and knowledge. Daniel 12:4 "But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up this book untill the time of the end. Many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase." Christians who take the bible seriously should not be passive about this truth of prophetic significance. We must also consider seriously the knowledge and the air power of the military establishments of several of the nations around the world. It has been exponential! Rushing "here and there" as scripture puts it can also be refering to our need for speed as we travel in our vehicles and rush from one place to another. Trying to save a couple minutes of time. There is talk of space travel for vacations and also in the works is new ideas of traveling from one country to another by simply entering in and out of space, thus reducing travel time. Our knowledge of travel has increased and also our knowledge of technologies have increased. From the phone to the computer, from the computer to the internet, we have the ability to communicate instantly almost anywhere in the world. The fact that you may be reading this web site on some laptop from some remote village in Africa, or from some metropolis area in Russia is remarkable. Newly developed technologies like Directed Enemy Warfare with Laser like weapons will soon be employed and empowered by our military. There are New Generation weapons being produced because of our ever increasing knowledge. Scientific discoveries, Advances in medicine, Computers designing computers, various News Broadcasts that can be seen through out the world at the flip of a hand held remote is a sign of our new age of time. Uncommon Disasters Luke 21:25-28 "There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth dismay among the nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, Men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." Our weather patterns have not been normal or ordinary. Over the last several decades the worlds weather related happenings have been quite intense and very extraordinary. We can blame it on global warming or whatever else you would like, but the fact is the Bible predicted years ago that these disasters would be on the increase before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a documented fact that... Hurricanes, Tsunamis, Whirlwinds, Tornados, Tidal Waves, Astroids, Solar flares, Comets, Earthquakes and Volcano eruptions have seen dramatic increases in the number of eruptions and outbursts as well as the intensity of these happenings has been steadily on the rise. We can easily become boared and desensitized to these prophecy related scriptures when we are living in the midst of slowly increasing disasters.
